What is an RSA SecurID Software Token?

An RSA Software Token can be installed onto your UPS authorized mobile device, allowing your mobile device to serve as your SecurID Token for remote access to the UPS network or RSA protected resources.

I have a UPS authorized mobile device, am I required to migrate to the new RSA Software Token or can I elect to continue to use my RSA physical token (Key Fob Token)?

At this time, requesting a Software Token is optional.

Am I eligible to request an RSA Software Token?

How do I install the RSA SecurID application on my mobile device?

For Android and iPhone devices, users must download from the appropriate mobile application store.

I received the RSA application but when I open it, I see the message, “No Token Imported. Contact your administrator”

The RSA application is just a container to hold your Software Token. The RSA application is a software program used to generate a passcode based on a unique security key (software token) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN). It will not produce a passcode until you have imported your Software Token into the application.

In order to receive a Software Token file, you must request one through APRS. Once imported into the RSA application, the Software Token then needs to be activated. Instructions on how to accomplish this will come via email with your Software Token.

How do I request a re-send of my RSA Software Token for my UPS-authorized mobile device?

Use APRS to place your request for a re-send

1) Log into APRS at https://mahapps.inside.ups.com/APRS/pub/aprspublic.html

2) Select Request Access tab; Yourself is pre-selected, select Continue

3) Select SecurID Access (Token); select Continue

4) Select Resend my SecurID Software Token for my UPS authorized Mobile Device

5) Select Continue and follow the on screen instructions to completion

How long will it take to receive my new Software Token?

RSA Software token requests require your Manager’s approval. Once approved by your Manager, APRS will send you an automated email that contains your Software Token file and instructions to install and activate your new software token.

How do I activate my RSA Software Token?

Activation instructions will be emailed to you once your request is approved. They can also be found at https://fixtoken.ups.com/ for RSA Software Token Activation Instructions.

Activation link is one-time use only. If the link is opened on any device other than the phone, or before the RSA app is installed, or if the import fails, the RSA Software token will need to be re-requested via APRS. The link will expire after 7 days.

I deleted/misplaced the email that contained the Software Token and instructions before my token was working properly, what do I do?

Request a resend through APRS;

I just received a replacement mobile device. The RSA application is installed, but I do not have the token file. How do I request to have the same token re-sent to me?

My activation link expired, how do I get a new one?

For Software Token:

For KeyFob:

Make a lost/broken/stolen token request in APRS. Include the Token Serial Number in the comments and state you need a new activation email sent.

How do I update my Challenge Questions and answers?

For UPS Employees and portal eligible non-employees, go to UPSer.com, Edit My Profile

For Vendor Employees, go to APRS, Edit My Profile

Will I be able to view the RSA Software Token passcode on my UPS-approved mobile device if I have no signal coverage?

The RSA Software Token does NOT rely on cellular connectivity in order to produce a valid passcode.

Will I be able to use the RSA Software Token on my UPS-approved mobile device if I am traveling internationally?

Yes.

What do I do if my UPS authorized mobile device is not working and I do not have access to the token number?

Report token as lost and request temporary password until your is functional again. For full instructions go to https://fixtoken.ups.com/ and select Set My Token to Lost/Broken Mode

How do I dispose of an expired or unwanted RSA keyfob token?

For Domestic US users: Replaced RSA Tokens should be turned into your local TSG/CTSG representative for disposal;

For Corporate IS Users: Replaced RSA Tokens should be turned into your local Campus representative for disposal;

Tokens will be recycled via the UPS E-Recycling Program. RSA Token disposal questions should be forwarded to: erecycle@ups.com

For International users: replaced RSA Tokens should be recycled locally based on Regional UPS disposal guidelines.
